Things to do in the Zoo in Umm Al Quwain
Another name for the Umm Al Quwain Zoo is The Zoo WildLife Park. Both locals and visitors think that this zoo is ideal for seeing wild creatures that are hidden from view and taking photos with them.
There are adorable newborn tigers and poisonous snakes all around, so there will undoubtedly be a tiny thrill in your blood. All of the animals are well-trained, so don’t worry. The fact that the animals here enjoy interacting with people is the nicest part. You can thus play with them and snap images of them.
There’s a cute orangutan at the zoo. She loves eating fruits, playing with the kids, and is really cute. You can take a walk and enjoy some quality time with the park’s animals if that’s what you’d like to do. Everyone like talking parrots, and in the Umm Al Quwain Zoo, you can see parrots that mimic your movements and speech.
Animal attacks against you or your children are out of the question because everything is carried out under the guidance of skilled professionals. The zoo offers free rides on camels and horses. Even though the zoo is now under construction, you can still anticipate it to be very large once the work is over. It is one of the best things to do with kids in Dubai.
Fees for Umm Al Quwain Tickets
It should be noted that each person planning to explore the zoo needs a ticket. Given that the public can visit the majority of Dubai’s other zoos, the cost of the tickets is not prohibitive.
It only costs 25 Dhs per person, which is really affordable, and you may pursue it without having to make any sacrifices to your monthly spending plan.
It should be noted that you will also be responsible for the cost of your children if you are travelling with them. You must pay the same price as others to enter the zoo; there are no deals or discounts available on the tickets. There isn’t an online booking option at the moment, so you have to pay for your tickets in person.
Location
Sharjah is only a few minutes away from the Umm Al Quwain zoo. However, because there is no public transport on this route, commuting can be a little challenging. Therefore, you can only come down here if you have a private vehicle. There are currently no signage posted at the zoo because it is still under renovation.
The commute will become simpler as soon as the construction is completed. In order to make it easier for people to get to the zoo, traffic markers will also be installed. As of right present, purchasing tickets requires doing so offline, outside of the zoo.
If you end up visiting Sharjah afterwards, visit their Heritage Museum!
Timings
The zoo is still open daily. It is constantly open to tourists, save from the outside excursions (10 am–6 pm). The well-trained animals here will always extend a warm greeting to you and your family, ensuring that you have some very memorable experiences.
While the Umm Al Quwain Zoo is open seven days a week, it is best to schedule a visit on the weekends. The best part is that there are no limits for guests, so you may explore the zoo at your leisure, interact with the animals for photos, and even feed them.
